My Personal Taste

"My cooking"
Much of my cooking stems mainly from homemade Cantonese food. It varies from your sweet and sour pork, to my favourite steamed fish. One thing that I have inherited from my mom is the art of "soup". Every household in Hong Kong loves the idea of having homemade soup as part of their daily meal. "Soup" is similar to a consume where you take different combination of ingredients stemming from normal grocery items, to Chinese medicinal herbs to balance the "chi" and nourish your health from the inside. Luckily, I am up for the challenge with my little secret recipe book passed on by my lovely mom and mother in law. 

"Dining out"
Mr. "E" and I are up for anything. We will eat anything yummy from night markets, food trucks, local favourites,  and fine dining. As an Asian who grew up in Vancouver, obviously my love for Japanese food is a must. So I have an obsession with sushi, sashimi, and anything that radiates "umami". As for Mr. "E", he is less picky than me, and just love to eat anything that taste amazing. 

"Palate Profile"
My favourite food: SUSHI!!!!! Raw seafood!!! Fancy Japanese Candy!! Ice cream! 
My least favourite food: Steak, Pork, and anything that requires ample amount of chewing!
